Project description

Currently working with the Kendra Scott digital design team to enhance the e-commerce shopping experience across devices.
My focus is improving the mini-cart checkout flow to make it faster, clearer, and more intuitive for users.

The Problem

The Problem

The Problem

Shoppers often struggle to edit or review items directly within the mini cart, causing friction and slowing down checkout.

Process

Process

Usability testing revealed that shoppers often struggled to edit items directly within the mini cart, forcing them to restart their selection process. This friction slowed checkout and led to frustration during multi-item purchases.

“I couldn’t edit. I had to add again and remove the first one.”

Research Highlights

Research Highlights

Research Highlights

Users want better visibility of their selected items

They expect to edit color or quantity without leaving the mini cart

Competitor carts (Tiffany’s, Mejuri, Gorjana) show trade-offs between clarity and editability

Current Focus

Designing a simplified, editable mini-cart experience that keeps checkout within one seamless flow.
